Abstract Submission Guidelines For Oral & Poster Presentation
We cordially invite you to submit your abstract(s) for the 9th Annual Congress of Asia Pacific Society of Dialysis Access held in conjunction with the 15th Singapore Society of Nephrology Annual Scientific Meeting 2025 to be held from 17-19 October at the Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel, Singapore.

Abstract(s) submission for oral and poster presentation must be submitted via the online portal provided.
Rules and Regulations
- There are two categories for the abstract submission. As follows:
- Senior Residents/Trainees/Fellows in Adult and Paediatric Nephrology and Medical Students
(please furnish proof of current Nephrology training position from department) - Open Category - Non Trainees
- Senior Residents/Trainees/Fellows in Adult and Paediatric Nephrology and Medical Students
- You can choose the two following topic categories for your submission:
- Nephrology Basic Science Research
- Nephrology Clinical Research
- Nephrology Basic Science Research
- Accepted research abstract(s) may be assigned for either Oral or Poster Presentation subject to the committee’s decision.
- A total of 12 abstracts (6 from each category) will be selected for oral presentation on 18 October 2025 at 1330HRS – 1445HRS during the Singapore Society of Nephrology (SSN) 15th Annual Scientific Meeting (ASM), in conjunction with 9th Annual Congress of Asia Pacific Society of Dialysis Access.
- Entries received after the closing date will not be considered.
- Abstracts presented previously in local, regional, or international meetings as either oral or poster presentation may also be submitted. Only abstracts that were or to be presented during the period of 18 October 2024 and 19 October 2025 will be eligible for consideration.
- Email notifications to the Corresponding Author and Submitters by 11 August 2025 2359HRS (UTC+8). It is the responsibility of the Corresponding Author to share the notification with their co-authors.
- The organisers reserve the rights to withdraw oral presentations from a category if insufficient entries or entries of inadequate merit are received.
- The judges’ decision is final.
Abstract Preparation
- Abstract must be in English, typed in Microsoft Word, Times News Roman font size of 12.
- The title should be in capital letters and bold print. Do not centralise.
- The authors’ family names in full, name in initials, their institutions, cities, and countries should be listed immediately beneath the abstract title, typed in upper and lower case and single-spaced without using full-stops. The presenter’s name is to be underlined.
- The text of the abstract must include section headings such as “Background”, “Objectives”, “Materials and Methods”, “Results” and “Conclusion”. The section headings should appear in bold.
- Potential conflict of interest must be disclosed in the presentation.
- For research with human subjects, the author should mention if approval from institutional ethical review committee was obtained.
- Text must not exceed 300 words. Bar charts, graphs and tables are not allowed. Abbreviations, acronyms, and symbols should be defined clearly if this is used for the first time. Place the abbreviation in parentheses after the full word.
- Use generic names of drugs.
- Presenter must clearly indicate the preferred choice of submission: Oral and/or Poster presentation.
- The Presenter must select only ONE topic category when submitting the abstract.
- The acceptance of abstract is subject to the full payment of conference registration fee no later than 11 September 2025 2359HRS (UTC +8) or the abstract will be removed and will be rejected for presentation.

Preparation For Oral Presentation Requirements
- Presentation should be prepared in the aspect ratio of 16 x 9 (Powerpoint presentation). Other presentation formats are also acceptable, however there may be a black bar on either side or above and/or below the presentation.
- Time allocated: 8 minutes presentation and 2 minutes for Q & A.
- Abstract(s) submitted for oral presentation may be re-allocated for poster presentation, at the Organiser’s discretion.
- Each primary author may only give one oral presentation. Additional submissions may be eligible for poster presentation.
- If the said primary author has co-authors, a secondary author may present an accepted submission. This is provided the secondary author is also a registered delegate to the conference.
- The Committee’s decision is final.
