Abstract Submission Guidelines

We cordially invite you to submit your abstract(s) for the 16th Singapore Society of Nephrology Annual Scientific Meeting 2026 to be held from 25-27 September at Hilton Singapore Orchard, Singapore.

CLOSING DATE & TIME: SATURDAY, 20th JUNE 2026 2359 HRS (UTC +8)

Abstract(s) must be submitted via the online portal provided. 

Rules and Regulations

  1. Abstract submission is open to the following categories:
    • Senior Residents/Trainees in Adult and Paediatric Nephrology: may be considered for oral or poster presentation
    • Junior Residents or Medical Officers: may be considered for poster presentation
    • Nursing and Allied Health: may be considered for poster presentation
  2. A total of 6 abstracts will be selected for oral presentation on 26th September 2026 at 1300 - 1430 hours during the Singapore Society of Nephrology (SSN) 16th Annual Scientific Meeting (ASM).
  3. Abstracts may also be selected for poster presentation on 26th September 2026 at 1430 – 1500 hours.
  4. Entries received after the closing date will not be considered.
  5. We invite entries for 2 categories: Basic Science Research and Clinical Research.
  6. Abstract presented previously in local, regional or international meetings as either oral or poster presentation may also be submitted. Only abstracts that were or to be presented during the period of 26th August 2025 till 26th September 2026 will be eligible for consideration.
  7. SSN will email notifications for selected Oral and Poster presentations to the Corresponding Author and Submitters by 2359 hours on 20th July 2026. It is the responsibility of the Corresponding Author to share the notification with their co-authors.
  8. The best oral presentation will receive a cash prize sponsored by the Chapter of Renal Physicians.
  9. The organisers reserve the rights to withdraw oral presentations from a category if insufficient entries or entries of inadequate merit are received.
  10. The judges’ decision is final.

Format of Abstract and Submission

  1. All abstracts are to be submitted via the abstract portal
  2. Word limit of 300 words (excluding title, authors and institutions)
  3. Diagram / chart is NOT allowed.
