This half-day interactive workshop is designed to provide nurses with practical, hands-on training in essential renal care techniques. Through four focused skill stations, participants will gain insight in Hemodialysis Catheter Management, Advanced Cannulation Techniques (including ultrasound-guided and plastic cannulation), Peritoneal Dialysis troubleshooting, and Continuous Kidney Replacement Therapy (CKRT). Experienced facilitators will guide small-group learning, ensuring personalized instruction and hands-on practice.
Participants will rotate through four specialized stations, covering key aspects of renal nursing: Unblocking Hemodialysis Catheters, Ultrasound-Guided and Plastic Cannulation, Peritoneal Dialysis Troubleshooting, and Continuous Kidney Replacement Therapy (CKRT) Essentials. This workshop will enhance participants’ ability to manage dialysis access, interpret alarms, and apply best practices in renal therapy.
